LOGIFARMA PREPARES ITS ADHERENCE TO THE NEW GOOD DISTRIBUTION PRACTICES

The globalisation of medicinal product manufacturing and distribution has led to the need to revise the existing Good Distribution Practices, published in 1998, so that they could reflect the new storage and distribution management systems applied to medicines and other healthcare products.

The 10 chapters of the new edition all converge towards the same objective: the QUALITY and TRACEABILITY of drugs and other healthcare products throughout the entire distribution chain.

Players on the medical and healthcare product supply chain shouldn’t view these amendments to the GDPs as a punishment, but as an opportunity to create conditions in which productivity and innovation can benefit both companies and end consumers.
