THE CHALLENGES OF THE NEW GUIDELINE “GOOD DISTRIBUTION PRACTICES”

The new guideline relating to good distribution practices requires new distribution challenges in the pharmaceutical industry.

In the European standard, which will be implemented soon to the national regulatory framework, the conditions of carriage of pharmaceutical products are subject to major changes, in particular in maintaining the environmental conditions, as well as in strengthening the traceability and traceability of products in the distribution chain.

This strengthening of the legal framework, which will be subject to activity, comes to require all chain links an effort in the search for solutions that allow both the enforcement and guarantee of the integrity of the distributed products.

Conscious of the need to meet these challenges the Logifarma started in 2013 a process of adaptation of its distribution model to the new reality.
